Vikas & Adriana’s Indian Wedding Invitations from Hyegraph San Francisco

It’s that time again when we create beautiful Wedding Invitations for our bridal couples from around the Bay. We have the prettiest wedding invitation styles at Hyegraph for Indian Weddings, just like our couple’s Vikas & Adriana who are getting married in San Francisco, CA. Their two day wedding event will start with the Sangeet which is a pre-wedding Indian celebration practiced by Hindu, Punjabi Gujurati traditions, according to www.linadjinsa.com. Their Sangeet will take place at, THE VINEYARDS AT THE NELLA TERRA. Followed on the second day by, THE SACRAMENT OF HOLY MATRIMONY, which is then followed by a reception dinner. So it’s like a traditional American wedding but multiplied. Hence the two day event. Imagine how much more fun it is to celebrate a wedding twice!

Vikas & Adriana, our Real Wedding Couple, chose these pretty Raisin Shimmer Indian Wedding Invitations from our Charu Designs. The inks are gold, raisin and tone on tone print. They chose to have a two page folded invitation design in order to incorporate all the different parts of the their Indian Wedding Ceremony which are a two day event. Included are: Hindu Ceremony, Baraat, Dinner and Sangeet on day 1 of the wedding & the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony with reception to follow on day 2 of the wedding.

Our couple included an R.S.V.P Card, and an additional “Weekend Details” Card.

Here are the Details for Vikas & Adriana’s Indian Wedding Invitations using Charu Designs from Hyegraph:

Our couple’s names above, VIKAS & ADRIANA, are printed using raisin ink color and tone on tone screen printing technique on both their day one and day two of their wedding ceremonies.

Indian Wedding Invitation wording

Vikas & Adriana Indian Wedding Invitation Wording “DINNER & SANGEET TO FOLLOW” in gold ink www.Hyegraph.com

The above invitation wording reads “DINNER & SANGEET TO FOLLOW” in gold ink. According to www.linadjinsa.com, Sangeet is:

The Sangeet. Among the many pre-wedding events that occur prior to the Hindu, Punjabi, and Gujurati wedding ceremonies, the Sangeet is where the party begins. The word Sangeet translates to ‘sung together’ from Sanskrit. ‘Gaun’, another word used to describe the event, means ‘songs’ or ‘to sing’ in Hindi.

“Weekend Details” Card includes Accommodations and Transportation printed with raisin and gold inks, www.hyegraph.com

The above matching Weekend Details Card is an exceptional idea. It contains the couple’s Accommodations & Transportation details for the wedding guests. This way the bride & groom’s guests will be able to stay at one location and travel together to and from the wedding venues if they so choose. The Weekend Details Card is printed using matching white shimmer stationery, printed with gold and raisin inks to continue with the theme of the original wedding invite. The back of the card is left blank in case the guest needs to jot down a number or a kind remark for the bride and groom.

THE VINEYARDS AT NELLA TERRA INDIAN FORMAL OR WESTERN COCKTAIL ATTIRE REQUESTED, printed by www.hyegraph.com on Indian Wedding Invitations

The above Indian Wedding Invitation wording is at the bottom of the invite requesting guests to dress in Indian Formal, which is in the fun vibrant Indian dress or Western Cocktail, meaning formal wear. It’s great to comment as to the attire for the wedding guests. Specially for those who may have not attend a traditional Indian Wedding.

Ganesha – The Remover of Obstacles – printed on the first page of Vikas & Adriana’s Indian Wedding Invitation, www.hyegraph.com

The Ganesha symbol is printed at the top of Vikas & Adriana’s Indian Wedding Invitation. It is “one of the best-known and most worshiped deities in the Hindu pantheon,” according to Wikapedia. It is the remover of obstacles, according to the Chopra Center, it has a large elephant head and pot bellied human body. So we wish our couple the best luck and the removal of All Obstacles forever! The Ganesha is also printed using raisin ink.

All the above wedding stationery were chosen and designed with our Hyegraph Couple. The text, names, symbols, everything has a meaning just like every little thing with do or say. Except with the invitation, it’s in print. It now exists as an entity on it’s own. What follows is the actual ceremony and joining of hands and lives. We wish our beautiful couple only happy and healthy days.
